Non-Contact Web Cleaning Systems are designed and manufactured
precisely to customer's specifications in order to provide
effective cleaning of all contaminants present during
a wide range of converting processes.
The
Cleaning head neutralises static charge, removes and
collects particles such as dust of a few microns to
swarf over a wide range of web speeds and widths.
The
Cleaning head consists of two ionising bars, a compressed
air curtain and vacuuming duct, which is located between
3mm and 5mm away from the surface of the substrate.
This
provides effective neutralising of the static charge
and subjects the entire surface of the web to high velocity
air movement, gently removing dust, dirt and other contaminants,
drawing them through the vacuum duct and into the vacuum
pump unit.
